An estimated quote may be given over the phone for the project but an agreement would be signed before proceeding with the job.
The Agreement is to be fair for both the Customer and the Custom Worker (Handyman/Consultant). The Agreement has examples to make this easier to understand.
The goal is to have the job done correctly and not have any misunderstanding as to the cost for the job/project.
The job/project can be stopped at any time by either party.
Most jobs will be quoted with an all inclusive price. Materials may be extra but in the quote and described in the scope of work.
